Specific Oregon Scholarships

AEA Scholarships: Dozens of scholarship packages will be awarded to Oregon high school graduates entering Oregon public universities with plans for an engineering or computer science career. Note: Women, African Americans, Latin Americans, and Native Americans are especially encouraged to apply.
Scholarships for Specific Universities and Community Colleges: Be sure to check the college you plan to attend to see if they have specific scholarships for their school. We've included a few links to Oregon schools below. If there is a college you would like included, please email us:
Intel Science Talent Search (STS): Each year, almost 2000 students accept the challenge of completing an entry for the Intel® Science Talent Search, with finalists competing for the top prize, a $100,000 scholarship. To compete, you need to submit a report on a research project you have done in one of many fields in science and engineering.
Martina Testa Memorial Scholarship: Applicants must be female high school seniors, intending to study engineering in a 4 or 5 year ABET accredited baccalaureate program. Applicants must reside and attend high school in the Willamette Valley or central Oregon coast. The scholarship is awarded primarily on the basis of scholastic achievement, community involvement and work experience.
Oregon Student Assistance Commission: Scholarships: Here's a great scholarship assistance site. Save a lot of the redundant work of applying for multiple scholarships. Complete the application only one time for all scholarships that apply.
PCC's Scholarships from Other Organizations: Here is another fine collection of scholarships for all types of potential recipients. It's worth looking over, you just may be the next one to receive a scholarship.

Other Math, Science or Technology-related Scholarships

SME Education Foundation Scholarships: The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) Education Foundation is offering over $400,000 in scholarships available for graduating high school seniors and students pursuing degrees in manufacturing and related fields.

General Resources: Scholarship Searches & Financial Aid

Oregon College Directory: Here's a great resource for getting all the info you need on any college or university in Oregon. It's also great for searching or browsing specific degrees and subjects.
Collegeboard.com: Finding Scholarships: This is a good user-friendly site to do filtered search among a huge database of scholarships (more than 2,000). It's also chock full of other resources including an organizer for your college prep.
College Answer: If you're going to get information about financial aid and scholarships, you'd be remiss not to check out WiredScholar.com, since it comes from Sallie Mae, the organization that will likely be handling your college loans.
CollegeNET: This is a slick-looking and handy site. The database of scholarships contain over 600,000 scholarships of over $1.6 billion dollars. With that much money out there, you're sure to find some money that's waiting for you.

FinAid: This site is a great place to help you swim through the murky and dangerous waters of financial aid. If all that talk about completing forms for financial aid gets you queasy, then this is your site.
Hobsons CollegeView: Among all of the great college and scholarship tools, there's a nifty section of colleges broken down by special interest groups, which will help you narrow your college search.
Scholarship.com: Have them match your profile with their database of over 600,000 scholarships, from about 8,000 sources, worth over $1.4 billion
Xap.com: You might just want to send your high school counselor on vacation after letting this web site do all your work in searching for a great college.
