Description of Duties The UMG Ultra Mobile Software Engineering (UMSE) Validation Team is seeking a Software Validation Intern to be responsible for validation of software components running on Android and MeeGo based mobile devices. Tasks will include setup and configuration of hardware and software, text execution and tracking throughout the product development cycle, scripting of common tasks, issue reporting, analysis and tracking as well as general troubleshooting. REQUIRED: Unix/Linux OS knowledge at user level, basic scripting skills in C Shell or Python. Programming skills in one of the following is desirable: Java, C and/or C++.
Android experience is highly desirable.
