This page is for students already hired in the BEC student internship program.

BEC Intern Forms

If selected as a BEC intern, you will participate in an orientation to prepare you for the internship experience. This includes filling out forms required to begin working.


BEC Intern Learning Objectives: Begin with the end in mind!

The purpose of an internship is to provide you with a meaningful, personalized and hands-on learning experience. The more you put into it the more you will get out of it. That is why as part of your experience you will develop learning objectives (pdf) - goals that you wish to accomplish during the experience. This way, you know from the beginning where you are headed and can work each day toward accomplishing your goals.

    When Developing Learning Objectives
  • think about what you want to learn over the course of your internship
  • make your learning objectives something you can measure and achieve
  • make sure your objectives line up with the goals of your supervisor
  • put extra thought and effort into creating your learning objectives
  • consider learning objectives as the roadmap of your internship journey
