Request Classroom Match
VOLUNTEERS
Login to the NEM Volunteer System Login to request the BEC to match you with a classroom. This option is available for Oregon volunteers.
When you request a match, you identify your preferences including # of classes, grade level, subject taught and geographic areas. In January, the BEC matches you and provides you with classroom details. You then contact the educator to schedule the visitation to occur sometime in February.
Volunteers that are employed by or are members of participating NEM organizations are eligible to participate. These include engineers, technicians and other volunteers that are able to knowledgeably represent the engineering field and give a hands-on classroom presentation.
