The enthusiasm of the kids was infectious. I had as much fun as they did.

The main benefit was getting the chance to talk with kids about the opportunity of an engineering career because I think their involvement in engineering is key to our country's ability to compete. I also was able to reflect on my own reasons for enjoying the career I've chosen.
