EMPLOYERS
Confirm Involvement as an NEM Partner
- Fill out the online agreement
- Identify the desired two-year or one-year option
- Set company goals and targets for participation
Enlist Engineers to Participate
- Use BEC-provided materials to promote NEM and enlist engineers to register as a classroom presenter
- Use BEC-provide materials to guide engineers in preparing a classroom presentation and hands-on activity (examples provided online)
BUSINESS EDUCATION COMPACT
Supports Employers, Engineers, Educators
- Provides orientation, support and guidance for all participants (employers, engineers, educators)
- Performs outreach to hundreds of Oregon educators
- Provides online registration and handbooks for engineers and educators
- Provides access to age-appropriate presentations, activities and tips for engineers to use
- Performs matching of engineers with educators
- Promotes company involvement in NEM through media campaign
- Performs participant surveys and NEM Final Report
