Exciting Students to Excel with NEM!

We invite Oregon employers to join the BEC as an NEM 2008 Partner!

Employers pay a low-cost fee to participate and are offered two-year or one-year service options. While employers are encouraged to provide engineer volunteers to visit classrooms and conduct in-class activities, they BEC welcomes partner funding that will enable other engineers to make classroom visitations.

Conduct outreach to hundreds of Oregon educators to participate
Manage participation by hundreds of volunteer engineers by providing:

Online activity and presentation resources
Online registration to request BEC match
Online registration to record self-matched visits

Secure public recognition for all NEM partner employers

Local advertising and community awareness campaign

Perform participant surveys of teachers, students and engineers
Distribute NEM Final Report with program results
