Select the link above to request a guest engineer to present in your classroom during National Engineers Month (NEM).
In January, the BEC matches you with an engineer representative based on engineer availability. We do our best to find an engineer for your classroom(s) but cannot guarantee a match. Once a match is made, we email you notification to retrieve your match details. You and the engineer then make contact to schedule the presentation to occur sometime in February.
Oregon and Southwest Washington educators teaching grades 3-12 are eligible to register. Participating employers fund the NEM program on behalf of schools so it can be provided as a free service. Employers are currently signing up for NEM 2009 and we will have the list in January. In the meantime, you can view the list of awesome NEM 2008 Partners.
